End-of-life photography sessions are created to gently honour the bond between you and your beloved animal companion during life’s most vulnerable threshold. This is not simply a photoshoot — it is a quiet witnessing of devotion, trust, and a love story that will always exist. These sessions are guided by your animal’s comfort, energy, and needs. Whether at home, in a favourite field, in the barn aisle, or in the soft stillness of your shared space, we move slowly. There is no pressure. Only presence. Together, we preserve the details you never want to forget — the way they rest their head against you, the softness in their eyes, the familiar shape of their body beside yours. These images become tangible anchors for grief, remembrance, and lifelong love.
As an Animal Intuitive, Death Doula, Photographer of 15+ years, and lifelong animal guardian, I understand the emotional, spiritual, and practical weight of this time. I hold space not just as a photographer, but as a steady presence for both you and your animal. Every animal deserves to be honoured. Every love story deserves to be remembered. Because goodbye is not the end — it is a continuation in a new form.
LOCATION
Sessions are available within 30 minutes of Belle River, Ontario, at your home, your farm, where your horse is boarded, their favourite park, or beach.
SESSION DAY
Come session day, the length will vary depending on a variety of factors, but mostly it comes down to your pet's comfort, age, and/or stage of their diagnosis. I have found it important to be efficient, as their energy is often low while your stress is high, with a range of emotions being experienced, which can be a challenging time for everyone. Generally, set aside 30-45 minutes, though each animal and situation can be different.
AFTER THE SESSION
I will select and retouch the best photos from your session, and they will be provided to you as high-resolution digital files.
I offer a gorgeous line of artisan wall art and albums that can be ordered in addition within 1 year of your session.
