Hi, I’m Sarah — an animal communicator, lifelong animal lover, guardian, and artist with a soul-aligned approach to life, healing, and animal husbandry. I am the woman behind The Soulful Sorrel.

While my entrepreneurial journey began with a camera in hand and a heart bursting with the captivating beauty of horses, it has evolved into something much deeper: a soul path as an intuitive animal communicator. I work with animals at both the physical and soul levels, ensuring they can communicate their physical and emotional wants, needs, feelings, and thoughts, as well as their soulful wisdom.

Through my experience communicating with the animals and doing the deep soul work with my own animals, I know that nearly every behaviour, every dis-ease, has a deeper meaning beyond the physical level that our animals are trying to teach us from. The dog that takes you down with a loving force? The Horse that won’t walk forward, even though they have cleared the vet, and have the training? The cat that talks to you with emphasis and punctuation? They all have reasons, and it’s my joy to connect and learn their why.

It’s been my experience and deeply held belief that our Animals believe in us and are here to support our souls’ evolution. It’s our duty as guardians to not only ensure they have all their physical well-being needs and wants met, but to ensure that we are attuned to them at this deeper level, and willing to do the self-growth work.

I have spent the last decade learning and practicing holistic healing modalities, honing in and refining my intuitive abilities and understanding of healing for animals and people in addition to my studies and mentorship as an Animal Communication and Animal Death Doula. Beyond the physical realm, I am honoured to connect with animals who have crossed over. The truth is, our bonds and partnerships continue on after death. It’s often through death that the work deepens if we allow it.
